Education is central to the mission of the Academy of Natural Sciences. We provide a wide variety of services and resources for schools, home schooling families, youth camps and educators.

Teachers’ Night Out

An Evening with The Dinosaur That Changed the World!
December 3, 2008 4:30 – 7:30 pm

Sip wine and enjoy hors d’ouvres as you meet Hadrosaurus foulkii, the first dinosaur skeleton mounted for the public—ever!

  • Get an insider’s tour of “Hadrosaurus foulkii: The Dinosaur That Changed the World
  • Go behind-the-scenes in our Vertebrate Paleontology department and investigate our amazing fossil collections
  • Participate in a raffle to win prizes from businesses such as Staples, Barnes and Nobles, and Starbucks
  • Our outstanding education staff will be available to answer questions, discuss our newest lessons, and help you enjoy the evening!
  • Tour Outside In and meet some of our amazing staff and explore some of our collections
  • Stop by “Butterflies!” and immerse yourself in their world of color!
  • You will even get to meet some live animals from our collections!
